Dear God, please help me to have the courage to step out of my protective shell. It is no longer protection for me, it is a hindrance to my life. I no longer need to be afraid of not being loved, as I love myself now. I surrender to you, to your path for me in this life, and give up my attempts to lead the way. I realize that I cannot see what is best for me, that only you are able to do that.
