imageEveryone seems to feel the need to write words of wisdom when it comes to the New year.  I am lacking this feeling at the moment.  It’s not that I don’t often spout wisdom, because I do at times.  (It’s my perception that I have moments where I am wise, anyway.)

Here are a few of my thoughts, observations and questions on this New Year’s Day:
1.  What was the last thing that you ate in 2013?

2.  What was the first thing you ate in 2014?

3.  Who texted you at midnight? What kind of relationship do you have with them?
4.  Who DID NOT text you at midnight, and did you wonder about it?

5.  Who did you kiss as the clock struck 12?  Did you want to be kissing that person or someone else?

6.  What is your best, most favorite, most delicious new year memory/experience?  How did this year’s activity compare?

7.  What were your first thoughts upon waking in the year 2014?  How do those thoughts set the tone for this year?

There is a New Moon today, which is a relatively rare occurrence.  The energy around the moon (whether it’s new or full) is said to be powerful, and that it’s a good time to set your intentions for the coming year.  It’s true if you believe that it is.  And your beliefs are your reality.  Happy New Year.
